Terms and Conditions

By booking any of Clarico Cleaning services, either through our website's Email or phone the client (customer, you) agrees to be bound to these Terms and Conditions.

Definitions

  • “The Company” means Clarico Cleaning and all of its divisions.
  • “The Client” means any person, persons or company whom book a cleaning service from the Company and includes the cleaner, agents or sub-contractors of any such person or company.
  • “Product” means all goods and services provided by the Company.
  • “Contract” means a contract between the Company and the Client for the supply of services.

Any part of these Terms and Conditions may be changed at any time without notice. You are advised to read them before entering into an agreement with Clarico Cleaning and regularly afterward and agree to be bound to the current version. Last update 20/09/2011.

Regular Domestic and Commercial Cleaning Services

  • Minimum of 2 hours per cleaning visit applies (can be flexible by service agreement document).
  • Clarico Cleaning provide regular domestic cleaning at a weekly rate of £9.50 per hours, every fortnight at a rate of £10.50or monthly £12.50, per cleaner. All those prices are with or without cleaning product.
  • Clarico Cleaning reserves the right to suspend cleaning services if monthly payments are missing.
  • The client must allow the cleaner access to hot water and power.
  • All fragile and sentimental value must be in secured place or removed.
  • Any estimate given initially is based on the average time it takes to clean a home or a commercial premise of a similar to the customer's size, yet the client understands and agrees that a degree of flexibility may be required. Without an inspection of the premises a completely precise quote cannot be provided. When the client requires an initial meeting with a cleaner before the first cleaning visit a written confirmation for booking of a serviced must be given to the Company.
  • If the company operative needs to collect keys from a third party's address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out then a £10 charge will apply.
  • The company will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.
  • or a period of twelve months after termination of this agreement the client cannot employ any Housekeeper previously introduced by the Company. The Company has the right to recover a full years fees plus costs from any Client that employs a Company introduced Housekeeper without paying the company fee.
  • Clarico Cleaning is committed to protection your privacy. We are not a big cooperate company but we are professionals and take you privacy serious and do not wish to cause any problems or concerns.

One off cleaning/ Spring Clean / After Builder cleaning / After Party Cleaning

  • Minimum of 4 Hours per cleaning visit applies
  • If any estimates of how long it will take our operatives to do the job required are being provided that is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a property of similar size to the client's, It being difficult to estimate precisely how long such tasks may take and that a degree of flexibility may be required.
  • The end of tenancy cleaning, One off cleaning, Spring Clean, After Builder Cleaning and after party cleaning do not include cleaning of : Wall, Ceilings, Curtains, Exterior Window, Balcony, patio, garden, Professional carpet and upholstery cleaning.
  • If the company operative needs to collect keys from a third party's address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out then a £10 charge will apply.
  • The company will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.

Claims

  • The client accepts and understands that poor service, breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24hours of the completion of the service. If the problem occurs on a Saturday it must be reported in writing by Monday 12noon in order to be accepted as a valid claim. Failure to do so will entitle the client no refunds or recovery cleanings.
  • The company may require entry to the location of the claim within 24hours to correct the problem.
  • If the Client instructs a third party to inspect the result from the cleaning then the Company must be notified before completion of the service. In case of a third party inspection or refusing to inspect the result from the cleaning then the company cannot be held responsible for rectifying any outstanding cleaning issues not mentioned by the third party.
  • Any refunds or adjustment must be requested to the company directly by writing and subject to approval by the company.
  • While the Company operative is making every effort not to break items, accidents do happen. Identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed. For this specific reason, the Company requests all irreplaceable items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valuable) be stored away and /or not cleaned by the cleaning operatives.
  • In case of damage, The Company will repair the item at its cost. If the item cannot be repaired the company will rectify the problem by crediting the customer with the item's present actual cash value toward a like replacement from a company's source upon payment of cleaning services rendered.
  • The company shall not be responsible for damage due to faulty and /or improper installation of any item. All surfaces (i.e. marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.
  • The Company is not held responsible for any items damaged by product given by the client.
  • No claims shall be entertained if the Client has an outstanding balance aged more than 30 days.
  • Insurance cover excludes anything that might break down or stop working at any time such as: Kitchen appliances – Dishwashers, Washing Machines, Cookers, Fridges, Freezers etc, and any other item of which instability the Client is already aware or for which instability the cleaners have found out in the process of cleaning, such as bathroom appliances and fixtures- Mirrors, shower doors and screens, taps, toilet bowls and tops, bath tubes etc; The Client is obliged to notify the Company about appliances which are poorly fixed not in full working order in order to prevent accidents.
  • The company reserves the right not to be responsible for: delay of a cleaning visit due to traffic congestion or broken equipment, cleaning job not being able to complete a cleaning service or the cleaning taking longer than initially quoted due to the lack of hot water and or electricity.
  • The company reserve the right to be responsible for: Failing to remove old / permanent stains that cannot be removed using standard cleaning methods. Also not able to remove diet / grease that has been ingrained in appliances and furniture over a long period of time.

Issuance

  • The Company is insured by bull public and employer's liability cover.

Payments

  • The Company reserve the right to request a £20.00 deposit from the client payable to the Company at the time of the booking.
  • Payments are to be paid in cash or by cheque made payable to “Clarico Cleaning”. The client will be responsible for all bank and legal charges resulting from a dishonoured cheque.
  • All payment for regular cleaning services are to be made in cash on the day of cleaning. Exceptions are the cases where other arrangements have been made between the Client and the Company.
  • If payment is not made after 30days of invoice then the account will be passed to a collections agency, after which a charge of 15% on top of the initial invoice due ,will be added to the debt.
  • The Client agrees and authorized the Company to charge the Client of any outstanding amount owed to The Company with regards to the cleaning service provided e.g. Parking fees.

Confidentiality

  • Confidentiality prevent the company form using or disclosing the customer's confidential business or personnel information to a third party.

Cancellation & Termination

  • The Client may cancel a cleaning visit by giving 24 hours prior to the agreed start time.
  • The Client agrees to pay 50% of the price of the cleaning visit if s/he cancels it less than 24hour prior to the scheduled appointment.
  • The Client agrees to pay 50% of the price of the cleaning visit in the event of a lock-out cased by our cleaners being turned away, no one home the let them in, no water or power available at Clients premises or problem with clients keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.
  • An initial deposit has been paid to Clarico Cleaning then client agrees that deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.
